«Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes …» – oh it definitely was, in Liverpool, England. I checked into the «Penny Lane» hotel in the part of the city that is known as «Penny Lane», Beatles songs were played 24 hours a day. Even the bus driver was whisteling «Penny Lane». If you don’t like the Beatles, you might think about visiting Liverpool … it is an entire city commemorating the achievements of the legendary musicians of Liverpool. It all started there and it will never end. I still love the song, but after a weekend in Liverpool, I preferred listening to something else … not by the Beatles :-).
